The Colby College Museum of Art and its Lunder Institute for American Art, located in Waterville, Maine, will host a two-day symposium Friday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 4. One hundred years ago in February 1923, Henry Roan, a 40-year-old Osage man, was murdered. His body was found just outside of Fairfax, Oklahoma behind the steering wheel of a Buick. Roan had been shot in the back of the head.

The Poeh Cultural Center at Pueblo of Pojoaque has received a $100,000 grant from the New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD). Funding comes from the inaugural Creative Industries Grant that was appropriated by the New Mexico Legisture during its 2023 session.
