YUMA, Ariz. — A Yuma, Arizona television station has obtained video footage of 10 officers beating Jorden Stevens, a tribal citizen of the Cocopah Indian Tribe, to death on February 15, 2017. News 11 aired some of the footage on Wednesday.

Stevens, 29, was being held at the Yuma County Sheriff Office (YCSO) Adult Detention Center on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. According to officers, Stevens became unruly so the officers tried to subdue him. The videos tell a different story.

After the autospy report was released last October, Stevens death was ruled a homicide.
