The Missing and Murdered Diné Relatives Task Force is inviting local communities to participate in a Survivor and Family Listening Session hosted by the Arizona Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) Task Force on Thursday, Dec. 11. The session runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Victim Witness Services of Northern Arizona, 201 E. Birch Ave., Suite 4, Flagstaff, Ariz.
“Every story shared helps us understand the gaps in our systems and the changes our communities are calling for,” said Chair Amber Kanazbah Crotty. “I encourage everyone to participate, whether you can join us in person in Flagstaff or submit your written testimony online. Your experience matters, and your voice will help guide our work toward justice and healing.”
Please support our year-end campaign. CLICK HERE TO DONATE.
The session is open to survivors of missing persons, family members of homicide victims, and individuals affected by the sober living crisis. Participation is voluntary, with testimony shared only with consent. The goal is to document experiences, identify needs, and inform policies and services that support Indigenous families across Arizona.
Parking fees will be waived for participants, but space is limited. For on-site support or accessibility questions, contact Laurelle Sheppard at [email protected] or 928-856-7676. Paid street parking is also available via kiosks; more information can be found at parkflag.org.{source}
