Jenna Kunze is a reporter for Native News Online. Her bylines have appeared in The Guardian, The Arctic Sounder, High Country News, Indian Country Today, Smithsonian Magazine, and Anchorage Daily News. In 2020, she was one of 16 U.S. journalists selected by the Pulitzer Center to report on climate change. She traveled to the Alaskan Arctic to tell the story of Iñupiat adaptability and resilience in the face of an ever-changing environment.
Her collaborative work was named 'Best Environmental Reporting' by the Alaska Press Club in 2020, and “Best Audio Reporting” in the 2021 Covering Climate Now Journalism Awards, presented by Columbia Journalism Review and NBC's Al Roker. Kunze is based in New York.
