Concern is mounting across Milwaukee and beyond as community members, family, and advocates intensify efforts to locate 15-year-old Julia Boulley, a citizen of the Bad River Ojibwe Nation, who has been missing since April 1, 2026.
Julia was last seen at the Revive Family Youth Services Group Home on North 46th Street. She is described as approximately 5 feet tall and 112 pounds. According to advocates, she may be wearing a black medical boot due to a recent ankle injury—raising additional concerns about her mobility and safety.
Authorities believe Julia may be with three other minor girls who were also residing at the group home. As of this week, she has been missing for five days.
The case is being handled by the Milwaukee Police Department, District 5, under Case Number C2604020037. However, family members and community advocates say more urgent, coordinated action is needed.
“This is a 15-year-old child, away from home, potentially injured, and now missing for nearly a week,” said Kristin Welch, executive director of the Waking Women Healing Institute. “We are calling for immediate, coordinated action to ensure her safe return.”
The Waking Women Healing Institute, an Indigenous-led organization focused on addressing violence against Native women and girls, has mobilized grassroots efforts in response. Volunteers have distributed flyers across Milwaukee neighborhoods and launched social media campaigns to raise awareness.
Advocates emphasize that Indigenous girls face disproportionately high rates of violence, exploitation, and trafficking—making swift action in missing persons cases especially critical.
Community leaders are now calling for an equitable response, stressing that all missing children deserve immediate attention and resources regardless of background.
