During the webinar, NARF attorneys will provide practical information on how to respond if approached by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in public, in a vehicle or at home. Topics will include how warrants work, what identification may be requested, and steps individuals can take to reduce risk and safely document encounters.

The discussion will also address policy and government considerations for Tribal Nations, including a legal overview of jurisdictional issues and the distinctions between ICE and other federal law enforcement agencies. Organizers said the focus will be on Tribal government considerations rather than individual legal advice.
