First Nations’ 2025 Summer Webinar Series shines a spotlight on the powerful efforts Native communities are making to revitalize and preserve their languages.

Built around the three-part theme of “Truth, Solutions, and Action Across Indian Country,” the series delves into the historical and systemic causes of language loss and why revitalization is critical. It then uplifts community-led responses and encourages participants to become informed advocates and storytellers in support of Native languages.

In the second webinar, Shodzi’dzo:wa:’ (Damian Webster,) a member of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation and a 2025 First Nations’ Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellow, showcases his work expanding access to the Seneca language and creating opportunities for new speakers and future educators to connect with and carry forward their language.

Tune in on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10 am Mountain Time, for an inspiring conversation about revitalization through action, vision, and community. Register here.
