Marijuana, Cash & Guns Seized in Drug Bust by Fort Hall Police

FORT HALL, IDAHO  – On Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 5:52 PM the Fort Hall Police, BIA Drug Unit, Bingham County Drug Investigators and Blackfoot K-9 served a drug search warrant at the home of tribal member Tony Saiz Sr. residence on Hiline Road.

The following tribal members were arrested at the residence and taken into custody to Fort Hall Corrections: Tony Saiz Sr., Dana Saiz, and Jessica Saiz.

“Charges will be filed in Tribal Court for endangering the welfare of a minor four counts each, criminal conspiracy, and possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance,” according to Chief of Police Patrick Teton.

According to Teton, items seized during the search warrant included cash totaling over $8,000.00, approximately 1/2 pound of marijuana, drugs scales, 10 rifles and 2 handguns. Official reports will also be forwarded to the United States Attorney’s Office for consideration for federal prosecution.
