CHICAGO — Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians tribal citizen, Dwaun Anderson, is one talented college basketball player. One of his plays has been nominated for the “GEICO Basketball Play of the Year.
The winning play will be determined by fans voting through the official GEICO Basketball Play of the Year Facebook page.
Indian country can help him win the top honor by voting online for him and let America know Native votes count! The winner will be announced during the GEICO Best of College Basketball special which airs Saturday, March 29 at 2:00 pm EST on CBS.

Anderson is a Wagner College sophomore guard. He grew up in Suttons Bay, Michigan where he was a high school basketball standout and was recruited by Michigan State University.
With less than eight minutes left in the second half,Anderson went flying through the air to deliver an emphatic alley-oop dunk off a pass off the backboard from teammate Latif Rivers (Sr., Elizabeth, NJ / Avon Old Farms (CT)).
