ALBUQUERQUE — On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, the FBI Field Office in Albuquerque released a statement seeking information about the death of a young Hispanic man whose skeletal remains were found on the Navajo Nation on May 26, 2012.

DNA analysis of the remains have determined the remains to be of Jesse Jacob Estrada, Jr. who was last seen by his family members in April of 2012 in Farmington, New Mexico.

Estrada’s skeletal remains were found near the Nenahnezad Chapter House in Nenahnezad, New Mexico.

The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are investigating.
