Family-friendly event postponed due to weather concerns

SALLISAW, Okla. — Cherokee Nation is postponing its annual Sequoyah Day celebration due to weather concerns. The family-friendly day of activities were scheduled for May 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum in Sallisaw.

A new date has not been set at this time.
