McSwain Theatre Presents Duo of Holiday Shows

ADA, OKLAHOMA — Jae L. Stilwell and Crossover will host two holiday celebrations at the McSwain Theatre; a Christmas extravaganza Dec. 21 and a New Year’s Eve bash Dec. 31.

Everyone will be “rocking around the Christmas tree” at the historic McSwain Theatre Saturday, December 21. The annual holiday celebration begins at 7:30 p.m.

Several talented musicians from two states will accompany the McSwain house band to present a wide-variety of classic Christmas songs and iconic country ballads.

Special guests for the December 21 show include Cathy Lake, Runaway Bay, Texas; Neal Coyler, Keller, Texas; Keith Woods, Duncan; Rachel Drawbaugh Turpin, Teagan Tully, and Native American duo Injunuity, all of Ada.

Also keeping with tradition, Jae L.’s Christmas Kids will join her for memorable skits and music performances.

Jae L. & Crossover Hosts New Year’s Eve “Hee Haw Night” at McSwain December 31

Ring in the New Year at the McSwain Theatre as Jae L. Stilwell and Crossover, along with special guests, present “Hee Haw Night at the McSwain.” The show begins Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 9 p.m.

The McSwain Theatre stage will be transformed into Kornfield Kounty for the show; where fun-loving characters will mimic the hilarious antics of those featured on the popular syndicated “Hee Haw” variety show.

Several talented entertainers from around the area will accompany Jae L. Stilwell and Crossover and present a fun show for the entire family.

Special guests include:  Will Clark, Collinsville; Kyra Cargill, Konawa; Ann Young, Richardson, Texas; John Pemberton, Lone Grove; Donna Marie, Tishia Agee, Ann Young, “Red River” and “A Servant’s Heart,” all of Ada.

The variety show will feature a range of country and classic hits from yesterday and today and entertaining numbers performed by the talented artists.

All Jae L. Stilwell and Crossover shows encourage audience participation and interaction. The band routinely takes requests and suggestions from the audience.

Stilwell, an Ada native, will be joined Saturday by Crossover band members Jody Teeter, Debbie Allen, Ronnie Magar, Wayne Morton, Greg Griffin, Gary Bryan, Mike Price, Jeff Donaldson and Tara Scott.
