Byron Lee Blackwell graduated from New College School of Law and earned a Master’s degree in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University, as well as a Doctorate degree in American Indian Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University. He wrote three textbooks for his doctorate in higher education. An American Indian, he recently lived in Tucson, Arizona.
