CLEVELAND – With the crowning of Donald Trump as the Republican presidential nominee this coming week in Cleveland, a photo taken by a Wall Street Journal journalist at the Republican Party Convention venue is causing a stir on social meeting this morning.
The Republican Party has struggled for the past several decades to attract non-Caucasians to join them because of its blanant disregard for issues of importance to American Indians, African Americans and Latinos in the United States.
The “WHITE ELEVATORS” sign will not help the GOP in its pursuit to be the “big tent” party. Of course, nor will their soon-to-be crowned nominee, Donald Trump, who claims everyone loves him, while spewing out offensive remarks about non-Caucasians during his run to gain the Republican Party’s presidential nomination.
Sources say the signs will be replaced before the official opening of what is being called “Trump’s Convention” on Monday.
