A command center is in place for the search parties next to the Kyle Police Department.

PINE RIDGE INDIAN RESERVATION – The Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety posted on its Facebook page Thursday evening a call for additional volunteers in the search for Alex “Tank” Gay-Vasquez, who has been missing since October 29, 2015.
Additional volunteers are needed for Friday, June 3, 2016. Those who can are asked to go to the command post that is set up located next to the Kyle Jail in Kyle, South Dakota. A briefing will begin to 9:30 a.m.
Gay-Vasquez went missing October 29, 2015 after he walked away from the trailer he was staying at with his brother near American Horse Creek, near Kyle, South Dakota. Vasquez was 24 at the time he went missing. His birthday is May 6.
He is described as a mixed American Indian and Mexican male, who weighs about 200 lbs. and is 5’7”. He did not have a cell phone or bank cards at the time he went missing.
