Gourd Art is quickly becoming popular in many circles and the carved hand-painted gourd-shell as an art medium is something that people really have to see to appreciate. There have been many creations over the last five years that show just how quickly this art form is becoming popular. Admission to the event is free to the public and there will be dancing and musical performances taking place throughout the weekend with thousands of visitors expected to attend. There will be a food court featuring Southwestern cuisine as well as other events that will take place over the weekend. World champion dancer, Brian Hamel, will be performing as well as many others.
