OMG, did not heard about this event. Hopefully, their stepfather’s side of the story will be hear before judgment is imposed. If Johnson’s actions proved harmful for these little ones, he will need to pay for his crime. So many social ills on our reservations that could be prevented by our tribal councils, chapters, communities, however, a majority just do not care as long as these officials line their pockets (and that of their associates) with monies specifically provided to enhance the lives of its membership. Tribal Council executive committees namely HEW and Economics appear to be worthless on our reservations. Worst of all are the councilmen-at-large who should be eliminated by tribal members where these individuals are not performing their elected jobs; but collecting their salaries for non-performance, however, proving they are NEVER late to collect their dues!
