TUNE IN: Native Youth Talk Juvenile Justice on Livestream

WASHINGTON — Register to join the Center for Native American Youth and the Colorado Juvenile Defender Center CJDC) at 10 AM MT on Friday, August 24, for a livestreamed roundtable discussion on Native youth and the juvenile justice system. Tune in for a youth-led dialogue on what adults can do to amplify the voice of Native youth in their courts, hear advice for youth currently going through the tribal court justice process, and explore visions for better tribal court juvenile justice systems, programs, and services.

Featured speakers include CNAY Champion for Change Isabel Coronado (Mvskoke Creek Nation), Gen-I Ambassador Sonwai Wakayuta (Hualapai Tribe) and Native youth Reuban Abeita (Isleta Pueblo).
