About 40 people were inside the building at the time the tornado touched down. A dozen people were trapped inside. At least one man was pulled from the building and taken to the hospital with an injury. There were no fatalities.
Farmers, American Indian and non-Natives, came to the scene of the disaster to assist.
“Everything is under control now,” an unnamed source in the tribal chairman’s office told Native News Online on Wedneday night.

Praying for all of you.
Thankful there were no fatalities.
I wanted to thank the makers of this website, when ever a Tornado hits this part of the world I get so upset because there is never any talk about any Reservations being hit by tornados. And now I have a place to see and wish the people involved good will and best wishes on bringing there lives back to normal. Thank you for this site. I now see there was damage done in this tornado and am greatful no fatalities occurred as it touched down.
Hope they can fix the damage as soon as possible.
