CHARLESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND – Last Saturday, the Narragansett Indian Tribe of Rhode Island elected Anthony Dean Stanton to serve as Chief Sachem. Until his election, Stanton most recently as tribal adminstrator for the tribe. He has over 30 years of involvement in Narragansett tribal administration and tribal matters overall.
