Talking Stick Resort Remains Closed after Severe Storm Damage

Published August 19, 2018

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Talking Stick Resort, owned and operated by the Salt-River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, remains closed as result of monsoon thunderstorms that hit the Scottsdale, Arizona on the night of Friday, August 10, 2018.

The resort released this statement to alert guests of the delay reopening:

While much has been accomplished over the last week, Talking Stick Resort will remain closed beyond the previously targeted reopen date of Sunday, August 19. Daily assessments have revealed that more time is needed to complete storm damage repairs and to replace the equipment required to ensure the property is up to the highest level of standards to which our guests have grown accustomed.

As repairs continue, our reservations team is in place and actively contacting all incoming guests and groups scheduled to arrive in the coming days. Guests with reservations through August 20, 2018 will have the option to reschedule their stay or to be relocated to one of the nearby properties with which we have partnered. Guests with reservations can contact us at 866-877-9897 to receive further information specific to their scheduled dates.

We apologize for this inconvenience. We greatly appreciate your patience as we diligently work toward resuming operations and are so grateful to everyone who is working hard to help us get up and running. As always, our website, www.talkingstickresort.com, will provide updates as they are available.
