Demitrius Anthony Gomez was arrested Wednesday evening.

FORT HALL, IDAHO– This evening, Demetrius Anthony Gomez was arrested at a residence on North Harrison Avenue in Pocatello, ID. Members of the Fort Hall Criminal Investigation Division, Federal Bureau of Investigations, US Marshals and Pocatello Police worked together to locate and apprehend Gomez. Gomez was taken into custody by US Marshals and Fort Hall Police without incident.
The Fort Hall Police Department would like to thank the Fort Hall and surrounding communities for their support and effort in today’s arrest.
Gomez is suspected in the killing of Tyron Diaz, an American Indian male, who was shot and killed near the Fort Hall Elementary School in Fort Hall, Idaho on Monday evening.
