Senate Committee on Indian Affairs to Hold Business Meeting & Oversight Hearing

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, February 14 at 2:30 PM EST, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will hold a business meeting to consider:

·        S. 995, the Spokane Tribe of Indians of the Spokane Reservation Equitable Compensation Act; and

·        S. 1953, the Tribal Law and Order Act Reauthorization and Amendments Act of 2017.

The business meeting will be immediately followed by a committee oversight hearing on “Making Indian Country Count: Native Americans and the 2020 Census.”
