GRAND RAPIDS – Attorney Tanya Gibbs (Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians) has been chosen by Grand Rapids Business Journal as being among “The 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan.” Gibbs, who recently was named a partner of Rosette, was honored on Thursday, March 7, 2018, at luncheon hosted by the Grand Rapids Business Journal.
Gibbs joined Rosette in 2013 and focuses her practice on non-gaming economic development by representing tribally-owned companies that further the economic diversification and self-determination of their respective tribes.
In addition to her role/responsibilities with the firm, Gibbs serves in a leadership capacity on the Council of the American Indian Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, currently as Section Chairperson, and on the Board of Directors of Odawa Economic Development Management, Inc., a tribally chartered corporation of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians
