NEW YORK — Appearing on “The View” on Tuesday, June 27, 2018 with Jessica Chastain to promote their film “Woman Walks Ahead,” Native actor Michael Greyeyes talked about becoming enraged when he saw “children torn from their families” at the southern border of the United States.
“When I started seeing the images coming from the border of children torn from their families. I was, frankly, I was enraged because within our own history our communities were gutted when children were taken from us . . . And so, people say: Is this America? And I actually think it is an America that is all too familiar from marginalized communities.”
