STURIS, SOUTH DAKOTA – The Meade School District School Board met ad hoc this afternoon – Thursday, October 12, 2017, as a result of the actions taken by a few students and voted 8-0 to forfeit and cancel the homecoming activities scheduled for tomorrow night.

“This has nothing to with Pine Ridge, it has to do with our community. We can’t profess to each our next generation to be good people and allow these types of actions to continue,” stated Superintendent Don Kirkegaard.
