Lodge Grass Schools on Lockdown Monday after Shots Fired

LODGE GRASS, MONTANA – A unidentified man is custody after he was arrested for allegedly firing one shot of ammunition in Lodge Grass, Montana on the Crow Indian Reservation.

The man was driving through the small town firing a gun around 10:00 a.m. Monday morning.

The Lodge Grass schools were under lockdown as a precaution until 1:30 p.m. The schools are Bureau of Indian Education schools.

The incident is under investigation jointly by the BIA police and Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office.
