Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Issue Missing Persons Alert

LAC DU FLAMBEAU – The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has issued a Missing Persons alert, and are seeking the whereabouts of Antonio Monserra Roché, date of birth 10/17/1993.
Antonio was last seen on 5/5/2018, and was reported missing on 5/13/2018 by his father. Antonio was last seen the Longs Point area.
The Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department and Tribal Emergency Management Program, in cooperation with the Vilas County Sheriff, the Lac du Flambeau Fire Department, Newbold Fire Department, the Tribal Natural Resources Department and the Lac du Flambeau Town Roads Department, are using search and rescue teams to investigate the area. The Tribal Fish Hatchery has a boat searching nearby waterways.

SEARCH EXPANDED FOR ANTONIO MONSERRA ROCHÉ
LAC DU FLAMBEAU, WISCONSIN – The Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department and cooperating agencies are expanding the search for Antonio Monserra Roché.

Search teams with K-9 units have indicated there may have been a presence at area lakes, and search teams are investigating all possibilities.

“On May 5th, when Mr. Roché was last seen, there was still ice on our lakes. We want to rule out that Mr. Roché didn’t fall through the ice,” Eric Chapman, Emergency Management Coordinator, said.

“Mr. Roché is not considered a danger to anyone,” Sgt. Mark Giebudowski, Lac du Flambeau Police Department, said.
