Indigenous Women Rise: International Women’s Day

WASHINGTON – Wednesday, March 8 is International Women’s Day 2017! Indigenous Women Rise (IWR) is celebrating all the phenomenal women out there and joining the movement to #BeBoldforChange!

Indigenous Women Rise will hold a networking circle on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Native Nations Tipi Camp in the NW Quandrant of Washington Monument Park.

IWR will march as a collective in solidarity with Standing Rock at the Native Nations March, Friday March 10th. Join us for a prayer circle at 8:00am in Milian Park (499 Massachusetts Ave NW, DC) prior to the march.

IWR has launched a new websiteindigenouswomenrise.org where  updates, news, and other opportunities to connect will be shared. All are welcome to:
