MINNEAPOLIS — The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Food Lab, led by indigenous chef, Sean Sherman, will be hosting a day of cooking demonstrations and presentations in the brand-new Cambria Kitchen demo area in the Creative Activities building at the Minnesota State Fair on Friday, August 31, 2018.
Samples of delicious indigenous food will be given to attendees. Special guests will be on hand from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sherman’s James Beard Award-winning cookbook will be for sale.
The Indigenous Food Lab will shine the light on several of its partners, including Dream of Wild Health, Ben Gessner of the MN Historical Society, Bruce Savage of Spirit Lake Native Farm, Winona LaDuke of Winona’s Hemp Mill, and their very own Tashia Hart will be presenting on native plants as medicine, and more!
The Creative Activities building is located on the northeast corner of Dan Patch Ave. & Cosgrove St. right inside the main entrance.
