DOWAGIAC, MICHIGAN – The extreme wintry weather conditions that hit southwest Michigan last Friday has forced the closure of Four Winds Dowagiac and Four Winds Hartford.
The Four Winds Casino management company announced the closure due to weather effective at Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The two casinos are tentatively scheduled to reopen Tuesday, January 28 at noon.
The closures were in the safety of the casinos customers and employees.
The Four Winds New Buffalo remains open.
The Four Wind Casinos are owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, based in Dowagiac, Michigan.
