Extreme Wintry Conditions Close Four Winds Casinos at Hartford and Dowagiac Until Wednesday, Jan. 27 until further notice



DOWAGIAC, MICHIGAN – The extreme wintry weather conditions that hit southwest Michigan beginning on Sunday, January 5, 2014 has forced the closure of Four Winds Dowagiac and Four Winds Hartford.

The Four Winds Casino management company announced the closures until Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. – EST. The closures were in the safety of the casinos customers and employees, according to a news release issued on Monday.

The Four Winds New Buffalo remains open.

The Four Wind Casinos are owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, based in Dowagiac, Michigan.
