Under-aged Blake Sazue was kept in hiding at Riverview Plaza Apartmetns in Chamberlain, South Dakota.
FORT THOMPSON, SOUTH DAKOTA — Blake Carolina Sazue, 16, was found today, Monday, March 30, 2015, as the result of a tip called into the Chamberlain City Police Department. She had been missing since February 9, 2015 and has been determined she was a runaway.
Native News Online ran a story just afternoon midnight Monday morning about her disappearance.
Blake and her boyfriend were taken into custody on Monday after someone contacted the Chamberlain City Police Department. She and her boyfriend are being held until a court date to determine what charges will be brought against them.
The girlfriend and boyfriend were aided by an adult at the Riverview Plaza Apartments in Chamberlain, South Dakota. Others may have assisted in keeping Blake hidden from her parents.
Blake is the daughter of former Crow Creek Chairman Brandon Sazue.

“My daughter was missing for approximately 49 days. It was the most agonizing time of my life! As a former Tribal Chairman a have been subject to physical attacks as well as death threats, but finding her far outweighs them all,” commented Sazue to Native News Online late Monday afternoon.
“No parent should ever have to go through something like this–ever!” continued the former chairman. “For whatever reasons beyond imagination, some adults think its ok to hide children.”
The case remains under investigation by law enforcement.
