Rep. Tom Cole, R-Oklahoma

NORMAN, OKLAHOMA – After a week spent visiting with constituents from across Oklahoma’s Fourth District, Tom Cole today formally announced his intention to seek reelection to Congress. Congressman Cole is one of two American Indians serving in the current Congress. He is a tribal citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, based in Ada, Oklahoma.
“I have enjoyed traveling across the district the past several days to visit about the issues that our country faces, and about the common-sense solutions that we believe Oklahoma can offer for the nation,” said Cole. “While representing the people of the Fourth District, I have consistently fought for a smaller and less intrusive government, lower taxes, and less burdensome regulations. I have always supported our active duty and retired military and worked to preserve the jobs and mission of our military installations.”
“This election, we have an opportunity to send more conservatives to Congress and elect a president who will work with us rather than against us. Together with a new president, we can reverse the cuts to our military, finally repeal Obamacare, reform our entitlement programs, and get our debt under control.”
“Over the coming months, I look forward to traveling across the district to visit with voters about the serious issues facing our nation. If I am fortunate enough to be reelected, I look forward to continuing to fight every day for the values and interests of the people of the Fourth District.”
He doesn’t say anything about his tribe or Native Americans in general. His policies are not in the best interest of the majority of Americans. I’m not very impressed with him and his regressive policies!
You have an important point there. no mention of United Nations’ imposition of Agendas 2021 and 2030 affecting the daily lives of the Americans. I was looking to see Cole’s mention of these two mandates and the impact they would have on our Native Americans as I read his position. It’s all on the internet this particular 2021 relevant to peoples’ strong opposition at community meetings where Agenda 2021 is presented or mentioned since 2012. What is it and why near riots at these meetings? How are our people affected as we are living on federal lands? Since we are plagued with incompetent and grossly greedy, self-centered and/or self-serving, vision-less local leadership one would believe our state representatives would provide some form of information and/or action on our behalf by now–2016.
