EVANSTON, ILLINOIS — Just in time for the holidays, the Mitchell Museum will host Native American artists selling their art and craftwork directly to visitors. Jewelry, pottery, beadwork, dolls, paintings, moccasins, and an array of other items will be available for purchase.
Award-winning artists come from all over the Chicago area as well as Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, and Michigan. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, artists will demonstrate their techniques and speak about their art and culture.
2-for-1 admission gets you into the museum and the bazaar with one ticket. Members are free. Don’t miss your chance to purchase American Indian arts and crafts directly from the artists, learn more about the traditions and techniques behind each piece, and enjoy the Mitchell’s exhibits all in one weekend!
