Committee to Hold Business Meeting & Oversight Hearing on Rural Development Programs

WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, June 22 at 2:15 PM EDT, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will hold a business meeting on the following bills:

·         S. 2785, the Tribal Youth and Community Protection Act of 2016;

·         S. 2920, the Tribal Law and Order Reauthorization and Amendments Act of 2016; and

·         S. 3014, the Tribal Forestry Participation and Protection Act of 2016.

The business meeting will be immediately followed by a committee oversight hearing on “Accessing USDA Rural Development Programs in Native Communities.”
