Carlisle Boarding School Conference: Registration Deadline – September 21

CARLISLE, Penn. — This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the closing of the first federal Indian Boarding school, Carlisle Indian Industrial School. To mark this landmark, the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition is hosting its first national conference, which will provide a forum for a discussion on boarding school truth, justice and healing in the fall.

There’s Still Time to Register!

Due to limited staff capacity, the Coalition will not be able to accept on-site registration and will need to close registration at midnight on September 21, 2018.

Space for this historic conference is limited. To ensure your spot, we encourage you to complete your registration and book your accommodations as soon as possible.

This historic event is the first national conference aimed at understanding and addressing boarding school impacts in Indian Country.
