NASHVILLE – Grammy Award-winning musician Bill Miller (Mohican), 61, underwent heart surgery Thursday, April 14, and is recovering in a Nashville hospital. Miller was admitted to the hospital on Monday with blood clots in the legs, lungs and heart. He underwent Tuesday and then again yesterday.

For over 30-years, Bill Miller’s music and performances have fostered healing and positive growth for so many lives around the world. Miller is a three Grammy Award winner and is popular among American Indians and non-Natives alike.

This morning, his manager posted on his Facebook account:

“It seems that many of you are channeling back that energy and mindful prayer back to him. After yesterday’s surgery, Bill Miller is resting quietly, and is in stable condition. We have been sharing the outpouring of prayer messages his fans and friends have offered – about 500,000 of them, so far – and Bill is overwhelmingly grateful for your support.”
