Vice President Joe Biden fight back against Trump’s blatant lies.

WASHINGTON — In the wake of two weeks of escalating calls by President Trump for foreign governments to interfere in our elections Biden for President released a new video painting in stark terms this unprecedented abuse of presidential power.
In an op-ed published today in the Washington Post, Vice President Biden blasted Trump’s actions, noting that:
“We now know he has abused the foreign policy of the United States in an attempt to extract political favors from multiple countries. He has directly asked three foreign governments to interfere in U.S. elections, including Russia, one of our greatest adversaries, and China, our closest competitor. He has corrupted the agencies of his administration — including the State Department, the National Security Council staff, the Justice Department and the office of the vice president — to do his personal political bidding. We also know that the people around him in the White House recognized just how profoundly wrong it was and worked overtime to cover up Trump’s abuses.”
Biden has long been one of the strongest voices on the world stage against foreign interference, helping establish the Transatlantic Commission on Election Integrity in 2018 and helping launch their global pledge for politicians to disavow any and all foreign attempts at interference at the Munich Security Conference in February of this year. Biden proudly signed this pledge shortly after he announced his candidacy.
Biden launched his campaign arguing for a return to dignified leadership on the world stage at a time when the world is facing inescapable challenges: a rapidly changing climate, the risk of nuclear conflict, trade wars, a rising China and an aggressive Russia, millions of refugees seeking shelter and security, and attacks on universal human rights and fundamental freedoms. Our next president must repair our relationships with our allies and stand up to strongmen and thugs on the global stage to rally the world to meet these challenges and reclaim our longstanding position as the moral and economic leader of the world.
