Tribally owned company recognized for international support effort in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — Cherokee Nation Construction Services joined U.S. partners in the UAE last week to celebrate the company’s successful transition as a contractor providing international deployment support services to U.S. government personnel and their families.
Over the past year, the CNCS team has transitioned a program that provides U.S. personnel housing and life support services.
“The success of this effort and the international recognition it is earning our company are true testaments to our strength and capabilities,” said Steven Bilby, president of CNB’s diversified businesses. “We have built a reputation as a best-in-class contractor that can quickly provide our clients with the absolute highest level of service worldwide.”
CNCS signed a five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract in 2017 with the U.S. Department of State. As part of the diplomatic support contract, the Cherokee Nation-owned company provides deployment support services such as housing, transportation, shipping and facilities maintenance to assist Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense and any other federal agency personnel, as well as their families, with their transition to the Middle East.
“Our job is to provide for the needs of our military and DHS personnel and their families throughout their international deployment so they can focus on the mission of protecting the U.S. and our partners in the region,” said Tim Roberts, head of CNB’s international contracting efforts. “We are very proud to support the United States’ mission in the UAE and believe this demonstrates our ability to quickly and effectively meet the needs of our federal government partners across the world.”
Cherokee Nation Businesses’ diversified companies have grown worldwide with successful programs and offices located throughout the United States, Guam and Baghdad, as well as the UAE.
